Bring 40 in 40 Food Pantry Challenge!!!

Jesus spent forty days fasting in the desert before the beginning of his public ministry, during which he endured temptation by Satan. Ash Wednesday, February 22nd marks the beginning of this forty day liturgical period of prayer and fasting AND the beginning of our 40 DAY Food Pantry CHALLENGE!!!

Our Food Pantry is asking that each family donate one non-perishable food item every day in Lent.  The deadline to donate your 40 items is Easter Sunday, April 8th.

Lanes Chapel Food Pantry not only gives to individuals who stop in, but is also partnering with Church Under a Bridge to feed the homeless.  Please keep this in mind when you make your donations.  For example, bring items that have pop-tops, items that can be resealed, bottles of water, every day things that we take for granted that need to be portable.

Other items the Food Pantry can use are: diapers, wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, frozen items, hygiene products, dish soap & detergent, spaghetti, canned vegetables & meats, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, etc.

You're invited to the Brother Lou Gary Thomas Memorial Golf Tournament which is a Fundraiser for our Building Fund. It's a fun filled relaxing day of golf, fellowship on the greens, a great lunch, awards, and exciting Door prizes.
